How to create a Facebook QR code

  1. Go to your Facebook page and copy the URL from the address bar (e.g. https://facebook.com/yourbusiness)
  2. Paste it in the field above and select the Social tab if not already active
  3. Customise colours and optionally add your Facebook logo
  4. Download as PNG (for digital use) or SVG (for crisp printing at any size)

Where to use your Facebook QR code

🏪
In-store displays
Place a QR code at your checkout counter or front door so customers can like your page while waiting.
🧾
Receipts & packaging
Print it on receipts, bags, or product inserts. One scan connects customers to your page after they leave.
📄
Flyers & print ads
Add to any print material — newspaper ads, menus, business cards — and turn passive readers into followers.
🎪
Events & pop-ups
Display on banners and event signage so attendees can follow your page for future event announcements.

Tips for better results

Use your vanity URL. If your page has a custom URL like facebook.com/yourbrand, use that — it's shorter, encodes into a smaller QR code, and scans faster. Avoid using the numeric ID URL.

Add a call to action. A QR code alone doesn't explain what it does. Use the frame option to add text like "Follow us on Facebook" or "Like our page" around the code. This increases scan rates significantly.

Test before printing. Scan the QR code with both an iPhone (iOS camera app) and an Android device before committing to a large print run. Check it opens your page, not a general Facebook login screen.

Use SVG for large formats. For posters or window displays larger than A5, download as SVG — it scales to any size without pixelation, unlike PNG.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use a QR code to link to my Facebook page?
Yes. Paste your Facebook page URL into the generator, customise the style, and download. When scanned, it opens your page directly — in the Facebook app if installed, or in the browser otherwise.
Does the Facebook QR code expire?
No. QRLifetime creates static QR codes encoded directly in the image file. They work forever without any server or subscription.
Can I add my Facebook logo to the QR code?
Yes. Use the "Logo" tab to upload a PNG or SVG of the Facebook logo (or your brand logo). The error correction is automatically set to H to keep the code scannable.
What size should I print a Facebook QR code?
For a business card, 2×2 cm minimum. For a table card or A5 flyer, 5×5 cm. Download at 1024 px for prints up to 10 cm, or 2048 px for larger formats or posters.
